Practice Administrator - Clinic
SUMMARY:
Coordination of all facets of health care delivery, finances, staffing, and compliance for Winker County Rural Health Clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be professional and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure the clinic complies with all federal and state regulations.
• Ensure policies and best practices are up to industry standards and government regulations.
• Collaborate with Physicians to develop business strategies and patient services.
• Provide HR support to Clinic and Office Manager as they lead their respective teams. This includes overseeing hiring, management and team, and in addition leads annual reviews.
• Provide overall operational management direction and guidance to the doctors and management team.
• Coordinate regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Oversee the clinic’s staff schedules to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate performance improvement activities with a focus on enhancing patient and employee experience.
• Responsible for the overall production of office manager.
• Responsible for completing credentialing applications to add new providers to commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Interact with patients and address their complaints.
• Communicates and provides appropriate feedback with CEO and other department heads.
• Maintains mandatory educational requirements for all employees.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned, requested and/or required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: Three or more years of clinic management experience required.

LANGUAGE/READING SKILLS:
• Communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Must have excellent mathematical capabilities

REASONING ABILITY:
• Respond to unusual or varied situations that are not covered by existing standards, procedures and precedents.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Regularly required to stand, walk and sit.
• Possess ability to handle, finger or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently be able to lift 10 pounds from the floor to waist level. Frequent lifting files, mail packets, packages, books, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Work is performed primarily in a climate controlled private office environment.

BENEFITS:
Retirement with Texas County and District Retirement System. Employee contributes 7% from Gross Pay and Hospital matches at 225%. Vesting is at 8 years of service.
Employer paid Health Insurance with option to add family coverage.
Dental, Vision, and other Supplemental Insurance available.
Nine paid Holidays per year, accrued Paid Time Leave and Sick Leave.

Pay will be commensurate with Education and Experience.
